Dining chairs, red oak

These matching chairs are made of red oak and painted with General Finishes lamp black milk paint. I wanted them to be light, both visually and physically, but strong since we’ll be using them at the kitchen table.

The sticks and legs are split from straight-grained lumber, and the leg/seat and seat/stick joints are wedged to keep them from coming loose.

$500 CAD each, depending on wood type and finish

These chairs can built on request. If you’re interested in commissioning them, please contact me.
